The Hessenberger Weir at a water level of 145 cm.
The Ager flows quietly here, and on the far side by the rocks along the shoreline, big trout are rising that greedily take our flies. In the evening hours you see ring upon ring, and fishing as if in a dream is available with a dry fly. At this water level even a beginner has a chance for a good fish.

The Regauer Reib at a water level of 140 cm.
The shoreline boulders are easily passable again. Just under the surface there are worn-down flat spots which provide good footing from which to cast. The deep run along these spots is ideal for nymphs. Farther downstream the Ager flows flatter with riffles. One can easily wade into the middle of the river and cast dry flies to the trout beneath the overhanging tree branches.
