Regulations for the Ager Fly-Fishing Waters |

2. |
The fishing season begins
on January 1 and ends on December 31 of every year. Because of spawning time
the Ager is closed from 1st Feb. until 15th March and
from 15th Nov. until 15th Dec. |

| 3. |
Upper boundary on the Ager: The
mouth of the discharge stream of the Vöcklabruck Electric Generation Plant.
Vöckla: At the cement pipe 50 meters above its confluence with the Ager.
Lower boundary on the Ager: Entry channel to the Deutenhamer Factory Run
and on the left side down the backwater stretch to the discharge of the
sewage treatment plant Ager-West.

| 4. |
Fishing in the Wankhamer Mill Race (Wankhamer Mühlbach) is NOT permitted. Also
prohibited is fishing from the bridges or power plants. |

| 5. |
The
licenses are non-transferrable. Violation of any regulation is cause for
immediate unconditional revocation without refund. There is no refund for
any license not fully used to end of term. |

| 6. |
Licenses are only issued in limited numbers. Therefore
confirmed advance application with timely payment is definitely
recommended. |

| 7. |
Holders of a 6-day permit have the advantage
that they may choose the days they use them. They must, however, enter clearly in the provided
space in the permit, the date of each day before beginning to fish that day. |

| 8. |
Holders of a 3-day
Block have the advantage that they may choose the
days they use them. They must, however, enter clearly in the provided
space in the permit, the date of each day before beginning to fish that day. |

| 9. |
All-year permit holders may bring a guest to fish without additional cost 3 times per
year. The guest’s name and
the date must be entered in the
license certificate. |

|
| 10. |
Only a flyrod and artificial flies may be used. |
| |
|
| 11. |
A rod my have only one fly tied on a barbless, or de-barbed hook (pressed
close with a plier). |
| |
|
| 12. |
On the remaining stretch dry flies, nymphs and streamers are
permitted. Only hooks
size # 8 and smaller may be used. |
| |
|
| 13. |
Jigs,
so-called lead-head nymphs, are strictly forbidden, since they cause
severe eye injury to young fish. |
| |
|
| 14. |
Pike
streamers are permitted all year, however, the total length must exceed
15 cm (6 in). |
| |
|
| 15. |
Rings such as the “Tiroler Hölzl” (rig with a bottom-rolling lead sinker) are strictly forbidden. |

| 16. |
The Ager Fly Stretch may be
fished in its entirety from both banks, or waded. From the upper “Hessenberger
Wiese” down to “Stögmüllerwehr” only dry fly fishing is allowed (no
weighted nymphs or streamers, no sinking lines or weighted leaders) |

| 17. |
During the spawning seasons of grayling and brown trout
fishing for this species is not allowed, and care has to be taken to give
plenty of room when wading around spawning beds (redds). |

|
| 18. |
We most urgently request that fishing be stopped in the
Ager Fly Stretch when water temperatures
reach 20°. If you fish despite this request during these high temperatures,
fish caught within the
permitted limits must be killed and removed. |
| |
|
| 19. |
To avoid breakoffs, only leaders of 0.14 mm (5x) and larger may be used. |
| |
|
| 20. |
We request in consideration of the trout population that fishing should be
limited to the early morning hours or discontinued in water
temperatures over 20 ° C (68 F). |

|
| 21. |
Fish that are caught should be removed carefully from the hook and released
immediately. Holding or handling the fish is
not permitted. |
| |
|
| 22. |
The
harvest limit for three day and six day permits is 2 salmonoid per day.The
harvest limit for
1- day permit
or 6-day permit or 3-day permit is 1
salmonoid per day. |

| 23. |
If a fish is to be harvested, it must be killed immediately, and entered
promptly into the catch statistics space in the permit with date
and time the fish is taken. After this fish kept, fishing must be ceased
promptly. All yearlicenseholders are allowed to keep two fish per day. |

| 24. |
Minimum harvest sizes and no-harvest times:

| 25. |
Holders of all-year permits may harvest maximum 15 salmonoids per season. |

| 26. |
Other fish species may be harvested as desired (minimum
sizes must comply with the license book of Oberösterreich [state of Upper Austria]). Chubs should be taken out of
the water. |

| 27. |
Fishing is permitted from sunrise to sunset. |
| |
|
| 28. |
The official fishery protective service or persons
authorized by the club have the right to, and are required to, check for
compliance with the above regulations and confiscate licenses for
non-compliance. |
